CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

During graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Montana, I provided trauma-informed counseling to survivors of sexual, relational, and identity-based harm through the Student Advocacy Resource Center (SARC), and co-facilitated a weekly survivor support group for UM students. I also served as a sexual-assault advocate for adults at First Step Resource Center at Providence St. Patrick Hospital and counseled undergraduate students and student-athletes from diverse cultural backgrounds through the Counselor Training Center at the University of Montana. Before opening my practice, I worked as a clinical therapist at Montana DBT Associates, providing comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for teens and adults. This included co-facilitating teen, parent, and adult DBT skills groups, offering parent consultations, and collaborating with community medical providers to support integrative care.
I currently practice in partnership with Waxwing Psychotherapy, LLP, a Missoula-based group therapy practice, under the clinical supervision of Samuel Ore, LCSW, and Leah Ore, LCSW.
...
As a fifth generation Montanan, my perspective on mental health has been shaped by years of social justice advocacy, personal therapy, the guidance of mentors, and relationships with people from many walks of life. These experiences continue to remind me that acceptance and change is an ongoing, collaborative process.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent over two decades studying and performing music, teaching trauma-informed voice lessons, and working in service and non-profit settings. I also trained as a therapeutic breathwork practitioner, supporting others in reconnecting with their bodies and cultivating nervous system regulation.
Outside the office, I value being with people I love, wearing long cardigans, and a solid morning routine.
